  • NORTHUMBERLAND SAFEGUARDING CHILDREN BOARD

The Northumberland Safeguarding Board has developed a website to provide easily accessible and up-to-date safeguarding information for professionals, children and young people, families and members of the public.

The site also provides some information on a range of safeguarding issues for parents and carers and children and young people in Northumberland. Links to the websites of other organisations offer more advice on specific subjects.

  • CEOP - CHILD EXPLOITATION AND ONLINE PROTECTION

The Child Exploitation and Online Protection (CEOP) Centre is dedicated to eradicating the sexual abuse of children. That means we are part of UK policing and very much about tracking and bringing offenders to account either directly or in partnership with local and international forces.

  • Thinkuknow  - 'Have Fun - Stay Safe' online:

Visit the CEOP Centre's online safety site, where you will find advice and tips for children, adults and professionals of all ages. You will find the latest information on the sites that young people like to visit, mobiles and new technology. Find out what's good, what's not and what you can do about it.

If you look after young people there's an area for you too - with resources you can use in the classroom, at home or just to get with it. Most importantly, there's also a place which anyone can use to report if they feel uncomfortable or worried about someone they are chatting to online.

For this and lots more visit: http://www.thinkuknow.co.uk/
